When you are in Saurashtra, the cutting chai of Mumbai takes on a different meaning altogether!
Ardhi cha, translating to roughly “half a tea”, in all parts of Saurashtra would yield you a strong milky tea in a saucer, locally called rakaabi, that you stick to your lower lip and sip from, ideally making a slurping sound! The beauty being, you don’t have to wait for the tea to cool down since the saucer’s broader surface area does the trick for you!
Have a good weekend everybody!
